How do I replace my boot gasket on my Bosch Nexxt washer?

same problem, second time having to replace it. Order parts from Bosch. This washer has issues.

Same problem. The Bosch man came to help me fix the dishwasher and I showed him how I had to use a ribbon to pull the wire ring tight around the gasket/boot. He had a devil of a time getting it back on. He kept working it around until it popped in place. That was about a year ago. Now it has come loose again and needs replaced anyway because it is moldy and pieces are breaking off. Everything about the performance of the washer is fine.

Here is how you do it. 1st remove the door & hinge, 2nd remove the covers on the screw where the door sits that holds down the control panel. 3rd remove two screws holding the door latch in place. Remove the spring & wire holding the boot on and pull the boot loose from the plastic holder Remove the plastic boot holder. You will now see the boot where it attaches to the tub. There is a spring and wire that holds that on. At the top there is a tab on the seal, grab it and pull towards you. The boot will come off. To reassemble I remove the counter weights(concrete weights) from the tub and put the boot firmly into the slot on the tub. Now reinstall the rear spring. Be sure to also reinstall the counter weights if removed and torque them tight around 25 to 30 foot pounds. Reassemble the front panel and put the spring retainer back on. Tools needed T20 torx driver, 13mm wrench, and needle nose plyers.

SOURCE: Replacing boot on Bosch Nexxt Front loader

are you talking about the thin wire closet to you... if you are, you'll find a small bend in the wire where you can pull it out. It is right next to a spring on the wire.

SOURCE: how do i replace the

The gasket is needing a change becasue it is worned out. So I guess that you have got the same model gasket to be replaced.
the gasket has to go into the slot to fall into place and make the sealing water tight.
So remove off the fittings and remove the gasket out of the slot. Now replace inthe same format , push the head of gasket into the slot using good pressure and then do the fitting of the gasket to seal into place. close door and cconfirm the fitting.
Switch on and see for any leak before your first wash.

The ring that holds the gasket in place fell out. How do I replace it?

Your gonna have to wet the boot(gasket) with just water and position the ring on the top of the boot and stretch it around the entire boot and make sure it secure.

Gasget came off the washer and i can't get it back on

I have the perfect solution the placing of the Retaining Spring back on the Bosch Nexxt 500 Door Gasket. It only took me only 5 Minutes after fighting with it for hours and getting nowhere. What I did was purchase a set of 12 inch hemostats (long Clamping Pliers). The ends of the Hemostats I wrapped both of the jaws with Electrical tape to prevent the Spring on the retainer from sliding up the jaws of the hemostat. When the ends of the retainer are placed on the ends of the jaws and the hemostat opened the spring is stretched. I found that If you use your knee to hold the hemostat open while placing the retainer in the groove of the gasket you can slowly release the springs and set the retainer back into the gasket without the gasket pulling off the tabs.
