MY DRIVE HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-4040B CAME WITH MY COMPUTER THAT I BOUGHT IN 2003. I HAVE NEVER TRIED BURNING DVDS UNTIL NOW. I HAVE CLONE DVD AND TRIED MAKING A COPY. IT ONLY PLAYS IT IN MY COMPUTER BUT NOT ON MY DVD PLAYER. MY DVD PLAYER IS ABOUT 6 YEARS OLD. COULD IT BE THAT MY DVD PLAYER IS OUTDATED OR DO I HAVE TO DOWNLOAD SOMETHING ELSE TO MAKE IT BURN DVDS I CAN WATCH ON A DVD PLAYER? CAN YOU HELP WITH THIS ISSUE. THANKS :)

The DVD may have a copy protection which will prevent it from being played on another player.
You need a DVD copy program that removes the copy protection and the Region code so it can be played on any player.
I recommend a program called DVDFab For details and a trial version go to this WEB site.

You just need nero program and know how to use if didn't work ,

note : the cd or dvd device when you didn't use for along time that cause to damaged
