It flashes then the enter password box pops up. Do you have a schematics of this mobo? i can not find it on the web. Could I clear the eprom?(with a paperclip and grounded to chasis) As far as I know the rom has never been flashed with a newer bios. I am stuck

IF it is a late model laptop, AND you have access to a late model desktop, They both should have the same connections for hard drives. You can take the hard drive from the laptop and add it to the desktop in place of the cd/dvd and scan for viruses and clean it out. Afterwards you can scan (under "my computer" right click on laptop drive- whatever letter it is and choose properties/ click tab "tools" and then "check now") scan to fix windows errors. After that is done, shutdown the machine and put it back into the laptop and it should be ok (IF the desktop is free of viruses and working properly). After starting the laptop, search for and download "AVG free" and install it. It is free, always gives updates and works great. Also, it doesn't slow down the machine. (like Norton, McAfee, others) If you don't have access to a desktop to do this, let me know and I will get you on another route to resolving this. This will work ONLY if the laptop and desktop are a fairly late model. Older models are entirely different and won't work this way. Let me know of your success, please.

Hello my friend,
The blue screen is very popular and it's usually happen when there is a file system deleted or a virus on your computer.
You may try to boot up your system in safe mode and then uninstall any software that you installed recently and restore also your computer to a date when it was working fine.
If this doesn't fix the issue, you can try the recovery system if enabled when you installed your system for the first time.
If it's not the case, the only way to get this computer working again is by formating your computer and installing windows again.
It's hard to remove that said virus because you cannot install or update your anti virus even in the said mode because the virus is close the program quickly or disable it. I fixed my costumer computer last week with the same problem. I remove the hard disk and installed to the other computer with updated anti virus installed (bitdefender internet security). I removed the virus then when i returned it to his original cpu i run the registry mechanical to fix the registry problem. MY customer is happy because he said his files and his computer working great now.
If this only occurs on battery power and your battery only holds a 10 minute charge? And your keyboard is external (PS2, or USB) it draws power from that battery (even the OEM keyboard does) and is probably glitching on you for lack of power. That's of course if I have understood you correctly? Good luck.
