HI Denise, if you are looking for a solution a couple of dollars cheaper and a whole lot faster than the six weeks SONY requires to fix your machine, there is a company in LA who does the "REBALLING" of the seals around the CPU & GRAPHIX CHIPS. An error occurred during the install operation (error when downloading game from PSN - network error occured.

If there have been any recent changes to your network, the PS3 may be having trouble connecting to PSN.

Error code 80023121, Is the same error code as 80710A06 (regional difference) It means that the PSN is down for the time being for maintenance. You will have to wait until the maintenance is complete before you can sign in and play games online.

I keep getting error code (80710A06) what is that? won't let me sign into playstation network.
Error Code 80710A06??? Personally I think the network has been hacked. I don't believe any 'Routine maintenance' would take so long. PSN say the network could be down for a couple of days, so It'll be Saturday before we're all hopefully back online.

HoweverThe PlayStation Network is down and this too can be in part the problem but the hard reset is what takes care of the issue when the PSN is running normally. I'd wait till the PSN comes back online before a hard reset.
