How to change the cartrige for hp 5510; chere are the cartgages stored in the pinter. I do not have a manual.

1. Remove all of the paper loaded in the main input tray.

2. Press the power button to turn off the HP fax product.

3. Disconnect the USB cable from the back of the HP fax product.

4. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the HP fax product and from the electrical
outlet, and then wait one minute.

5. Reconnect the power cord to the electrical outlet.

6. Reconnect the power cord to the back of the HP fax product.

7. Press the power button to turn on the HP fax product.

8. Reconnect the USB cable to the back of the HP fax product.

9. Replace the paper in the main input tray.

10. Use the HP Fax Test Service to try to send and receive a fax.

You need a Panasonic UG-5510 Cartridge.

On the front of the unit, reach into the place where the paper comes OUT of the printer and GENTLY pull on the panel. It should swing up and the cartridge carrier will then automatically align in the center of the opening.
There should be instructions on the inside of this panel for replacing the cartridges.

for the 5510, the manual says to turn the machine on, then lift the catridge cover piece, which is the flap under the hp symbol on the scanner/copy part...it's the flap that hangs down just above where your print copies come out...it takes a little tugging, but it comes up and then you can see your cartidges...after that, push down on the cartridge and pull it out..
