Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
I called and they are sending me a new one. The number I found for this is 877-571-7765 - You will need your serial number on the insude of the front flat - pull grey handle.

Just got mine replaced by calling 877-571-7765. (There's something about a phone support charge on their main support line that this number seems to avoid.) Apparently, each printer is "entitled" to one replacement control panel module.

It is a known issue. Just call with the serial number and they'll send a new one free of charge.
Excellent Customer Service for an out-of-warranty machine!

Harttens solution was just what I needed. Got a great customer support person who new her stuff. New LCD panel is on its way.

Is a known problem with the 8550 and lcd going bad. try calling xerox even if you out of warranty and tell them that this a known issue with this model and they may send you one free of charge.

The display panel has gone bad and must be replaced. This video shows you how to fix it. Very easy and no tools required. Good luck ">
