You will have to go to the manufacturer web site look at the cam name and model and go to the site and click on drivers or support links and find the driver you need and install it do what it says to do and this is about it. Now make sure that you grab the Win 7 driver if there is any support for 7 for it. If not get the Vista driver all you can do it try it to see if it will work with Win 7 it should. So if your cam reads Microsoft Web Cam then go to Microsoft.com and go to their drivers this is just an example. Since you did not post what brand your cam was we can only guess at this point.
