What I
could recon from your question is that your audio driver is not installed
in your reformatted PC. Please be
informed that any Driver software depends upon the PC make, Motherboard type
and Operating System. You need to know all the three information's to do get
going. Even here
you need to be careful to download the correct software for your PC. You need
to be exact with the PC make and Model number and the OS that you are using. To install
just Double clock on the driver setup.exe file and go on clicking 'Next' until
you get the 'Finish' option and restart the PC.
If you feel that my answers have helped you getting
solution to your problems then please give a vote. Thanks.
Please find the Driver software's of your Audio and video inside the
installation disk provided with the PC at the time of purchase. As you have not
mentioned your PC make I am unable to give you the direct download link. However
you can download the same by visiting the website of the company that
manufactured the PC.
Please tell me the exact model of your motherboard.

Many computer hardware devices require software components known as "drivers" to help the
computer utilize the device properly. Sound cards require audio drivers
to function. Without drivers, sound will not come out of the speakers.
Installing and updating audio drivers is relatively easy and can be done
automatically through Windows or manually by downloading the drivers
yourself.
follow this step by step instruction
-Click "Start" and "Control Panel." Then double-click "Administrative Tools" and "Computer Management."
-Choose "Device Manager" in the field on the left-hand side of the screen
-Look for "Sound, video and game controllers." Click the plus sign (+)
next to that field. This will expand a list of devices under sound,
video and game controllers, which will include your sound card.
-Right click on your audio driver in the list and select "Update Driver."
-Follow the instructions and Windows will automatically search for and install any driver updates.
Tips
You may also be able to download and install driver updates by going to
the website of the manufacturer of your computer or sound card.
If your computer experiences crashes after installing a new driver
attempt to download and install a different one. Generally any driver
downloaded using Window's automatic driver updating should work properly
without problems.
Hope this helps, thank you.
