My Samsung SP-P4231 plasma television works fine for several hours and then the picture gets all wiggly and impossible to watch. If we shut the tv off and wait an hour or two and turn it on again, it works fine. Any suggestions?

Sounds like something you will need to have the professionals diagnose, because that seems like a very uncommon error with that line of TV's. Sometimes TV's just go bad, and need maintenance, especially newer TVs.

My Samsung SP-P4231 has sound but no image. How can I fix this?

Go to eBay and search for BN96-01217A.

That is the power board used in SP-P4231 and the most common reason for the problem you have.

(not guaranteed, just statistically most likely one; if you care to check measure the Vs voltage at the power output - shoudld be about 87V and will probably be much less, say 30V)

Hope this helps!

Samsung Plasma 42" TV - 2006

Hi, this is quite a common problem for plasma screens and LCD screens. The fluroscent backlight is more than likely faulty and would need replacing. The best thing to do is to take it to a service centre because there are no user servicable parts inside the plasma.
