Kenwood Deck KDC-MP3032

Hey man,
im having so much trouble trying to get my deck to unlock.
I dont have the remote and everytime I turn on my car, its asking me for the code and I typed in 5227 and Held the Display key for 3 seconds, but then the stereo shuts off, so when I start it up again, it asks for the code.
Anything you can do to help?

    I took my stereo out from my car because i was gonna sell it. but then when i reinstalled it the screen of the stereo face said "ENTER CODE". .. i cant seem t fuigure out waht the code is .. Can you help me find a solution so that i can unlock it ??

    i dont have the unlock code for this deck my battery died and now i cant turn on my system. It came with the car when i bought it but the previous owners didnt leave me the code

Hey mate

We always used to use the remote to enter the code and the unit would reset. Without the remote, dont think it works, sorry man. Go to a Kenwood installer and they will probably be able to help you will you wait. I would, if you are in Greenbank QLD Australia. :

I would start by disconnecting the radio and hooking it up right,the power should go through the ignition switch.So that when you turn the car off the radio will go off and to hear it on again you have to turn the key to accessory or start it.That might take care of a few of your problems.

Use the Amp remote turn on wire, some units don't come with a antenna wire and as an installer we use the remote turn on instead.

Kenwood KDC-MPV619. No remote. Need unlock code for deck.
I had the same problem with my kdc-mpv619. I had bought a new truck that didn't have a remote and the screen says enter code. You do need a remote to fix it, but what they don't tell you is a universal remote will work. I used my direct tv remote and looked up all the codes for kenwood.

The one that worked for me was 30337 (not sure if that would work for you).

1) The way I tested it was go to my stereo and I held down the display button + volume up button. (This should remove the - - - - sign but it will still say CODE).

2) Then you press the 5 button on the remote and if the screen says CODEK then you know the remote works.

(to switch from K to C to A to R press the (>>) button on the screen.

3) Enter the code KCAR (the display will say CODEKCAR)

4) Final Step is hold do the fast forward button (>>) on the screen.

It should work for you after that ;-)

Wiring
tblackwood ...if you have connected your remote turn on for your amp to the remote turn on on the deck(this is also the power aerial connection) ..on some decks this has power only when the radio is operating. as soon as you insert cd it shuts down the power to this supply(i dont know why some did this.it was a bad move ) ..you may have to find another power supply to turn the amp on (accessories supply on the ignition..)

Is the deck on random?/shuffle?

Try pressing the small reset button on the deck, its small a small black button you would need a pencil tip to reset!
