I just purchased a samsung scx-4623 and it shows in my control panel that it is installed but when I select to scann on the scanner panel it says its not connected even though the test during installation shows it is...and I can print to it. What do I do?

You may deinstall the software from your computer and install it new after, then try, if it is still the same problem go to samsung web side and write your modell name scx4521F then go to download side and download: 1. Printer driver; 2. Scanner driver; 3. Dr. Printer,
when you download the soft ware do not install this direkt from down load, say save then you will find the soft ware in your download folder and you can install this soft ware from this folder as many times you need it. Choos allways the newest version of the soft ware mentioned on the samsung download side for your printer modell, hope this solves the problem.
