Try these two things in IE 8:
Disable Content Advisor

  1. Open Internet Explorer, and click Tools along the top of your browser window.
  2. Select Internet Options... and click the Content tab at the top of the dialogue box. If the Content Advisor is enabled, please disable it.
  3. Click OK.
Clear Browser Cache
  1. Completely close IE; all browser windows. Now re-open IE.
  2. Click Tools > Delete private browsing history. (or press Ctrol-Shift-Delete at same time)
  3. Click the box next to 'Temporary Internet files' and 'Cookies' - so they are checked. Any other items checked here is at your own discretion.
  4. Click Delete button.
Now go to gmail.com and try to log-in again.

I want to remove a google account from my computer

For PC:
Unless you have installed extra items like Google Drive or Affixa, or for Windows 8 App, Google Gmail is a web application and is not installed on your computer so there is nothing to remove, just don't go to the site or login under Chrome. If you have installed a Gmail program, you can go to Control Panel, Programs, select the application and click at the top of the window Uninstall.
For IOS, press on the Gmail Icon for a few seconds, when it starts moving tap and the option to delete will appear.
For IOS Mail application, under Settings; Mail, Contacts, Calendars; select the Gmail account, then you should get a Delete option.

Gmail login

Google Chrome and Google are two different things. Chrome is a browser like Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, Opera.
Google on the other hand is search engine. It takes your keywords and search the database it maintains. It can be used on Firefox, IE, etc.
If you do not want the Chrome browser, just uninstall it. You can also leave it installed and set Firefox or IE as your default web browser.

I have IE 8 and 15 updates installed on my PC, but use Google Chrome as my default browser and MSN Premium as my primary e-mail server. I am running out of space of my hard drive. Is it safe to uninstall...

uninstalling updated ie and reinstalling an old version will not give much space on your hard drive because ie progarm files is not to big, you have to delete other files that is unecessary to you to keep for and make sure can give you much bigger hdd space or else you have to replace or add another hdd with much higher capacity.

IE6 Crashes when loading Gmail! Help!

It might be that Google are blocking IE6- they got hacked recently and it was apparently traced to people using IE6 in Google that were hacked through one or several security holes of the many in IE6.

If upgrading isn't an option, how about a different browser?  There's lots of free ones to choose from, and there's no rule that says you can't run as many browsers as you like.  Opera (my personal choice); Firefox; Chrome.  There's lots.

The best way to solve this problem is to uninstall Google Chrome, then go to the Adobe Flash website, install the update. After that's done, download Google Chrome again and reinstall it. That will fix your problem.
