I forgot to charge iphone 3g battery and all of the battery went down, later i try to charge it and put it on charge the whole night and try to turn it on by pressing both wake/sleep button and home button for few seconds but the screen remained black and nothing turn on and i have tried a lot bu prtessing both keys over one minute but it is not turning on! so please help

1) First of all, check your charging cable. It won't supply a sufficient amount of energy to start the IPhone if it is bent or punctured. If it is try buying or using an alternative charger 2). If it still won't turn on, press and hold the home button for 30-60 seconds. If it still won't work, contact your local phone or apple store to get the problem sorted.

Any exposure to liquid can damage internal components of the device. I wouldn't recommend sending the phone to Apple because it will be an out of Warranty repair of 199, however you could try a third party company that does repairs of iPhones like iFixit.

you can maybe try putting it into disk mode and hooking it back up through itunes to do a restore that way? sounds like its possible something got disconnected from the board good luck

Hello!I have a problem with my iPhone 3g battery life, it lasts for no more than 5 hours or so and it doesnt matter what I do with the phone, if I listen to music, talking to someone or even if the iPhone on standby, at night I have to put it to charge because the iPhone just wont last the entire night (on standby) and will turn off.does someone have the same problem or know what to do to fix it?I have the iPhone for like a year and a half and the version is 3.0

there is a hardware issue. Apple should give you a replacement. If you're out warranty, you can try to open it and replace the logic board. You can get the part at iPad Repair and there is a guide that shows you how to open a kindle and install parts at iPad Repair Guide.

Try doing a master reset by holding down the Home button (the button at the bottom with the square), and the power button at the top of the phone down at the same time until the power off command comes on, but keep holding until you see the apple logo come on then let go. This is a master reset. Then try charging it. let me know how that goes.

I just had the same problem but while filming a video and then pressing stop. You need to "cold boot" (hard reboot) by pressing the home button (center round one) and the start button (top right button) at the same time. Hold both buttons down until you see the apple logo on the screen. Your data should be there. Always go to an Apple Store if you have problems in the future.
