Hitachi 60v500 tv has split screen with white vertical stripe down side

Hi we have a 4 year old hitachi 60v500 lcd tv. I started having problems with picture not being sharp and then problems with color adjustment. Now the screen looks out of alignment there is 6 in vertical white stripe down the right side it looks like there are pieces of 4 screens on the tv. The top of the screen is at the bottom and the left side of the screen is on the other side of the white stripe on the right side of the screen. Almost all of the color is gone. I have already replaced the bulb. Nothing!!!! Still having same problem. Called Hitachi said it sounded like signal interferance to call local repair service. Does anyone have any idea what the problem is before we spend anything else on it??
