I have the asus eee pc 2gb and i have broadband but dont no how to connect my internet to my pc as there is no where for me to insert the disc
AOL does not support Linux, so you cannot install their software. Did you tell them you had a Linux PC?
To help further you must explain what your 'network' is.
Do you have a wireless network or do you use ethernet cable?
You should be able to have internet access without needing AOL software.
Please give details of your network and equipment.

in reply to your responce i am trying to get my aol to connect to my eeepc my aol provider says i must insert disc to add my eeepc to my network .at present im usin my old laptop .i would be greatfull if you could instruct me as to how to get my broadband running.to be honest im quite new to comps and dont have much knowledge on what to do.many thanks again

The eeepc has wireless and an ethernet port and USB, why do you need or want to insert a disk?
