Cd will not eject, stuck inside the upper part of truck 2003 cd player

You can try to pluck it out with a wire, bend a small hook into the end and pull on the disc while hitting the eject button.

No it doesn't. The head unit is faulty and requires repair/replacement.

this is a long shot, unplug the radio from the vehicle and then plug it back in, some stereos go into eject mode when power is first introduced.

Use a screw driver, another CD, needle nose pliars, just about anything that can fit into your CD player WHILE pushing either down or UP on the cd to help the eject motor cacth cd and pop out..

I just acquired the same problem. I tried to put a new CD in and it wouldn't take it. I ended up pushing it in when I was trying to get it back out and now it won't play the CD, or eject it. I think it could be stuck between tracks, but they want $188 to look at it and fix it even if it is a simple fix. I am looking for suggestions also, Diane

can you remove the CD by opening up the face cover and using a pen or pencil push in on the release hole most are equipped with this feature if not maby tweezers and grab a hold of the edge of the CD itself and help it out while in eject mode

Unhook the battery.

I would first try removing the fuse to the radio/cd player, see if that resets the system and get the cd out.

Your cooling fan in the radio is broken. Ford has a real problem with this. Wait and let it cool down and it should come out. Then replace the radio, it will cost more to fix than replace.

The only way to fix your problem is to have a radio repair shop take it apart. You cannot fix this on your own. Remove the radio or get a quote from a repair shop first. If you cannot find a repair shop , talk to the parts guys at you local ford dealer about sending it out for repair.
