GE ice maker isn't working

If the tubing is plastic it could have cracked when you moved the tubing to install the filter. If the tubing is OK then possinly the filter isn't all the way in or is leaking.

The green light flashing is a fault code, usually for a no, or long fill situation, GE has nixed this electronic ice maker and returned to one that looks similar but is non electronic, while your ice maker is probably at fault you may actually have a separate issue causing the ice maker to display a fault code, such as a spent water filter, or low water pressure, or even a bad water valve on the fridge it's self. We live with cat and dog hair clogging everything. Try vacuuming out what you can see. Then working the tray - gently - from side to side, out toward you. Just a thought.

Sound like the problem may be a gear broken or damaged in the module which appears to be replaceable in your model. If you can dissasemble it enough to inspect the gears you may can replace the part instead of the entire ice maker. clean the coil behind the fridge or under the fridge (where ever they are) and make sure both fans are running, the one in the freezer and the one underneath freezer needs to be 0 degree F to start ice maker

did you try pushing up the arm on the side of the ice cube tray

check filter or waler valve may be is the icemaker call service

FAN MAKING NOISE BECAUSE OF BAD COMP BOARD, PUT UP WITH NOISE OR REPLACE EXPENSIVE BOARD

could be the air damper. try adjusting air control for more air at icemaker.

Not sure if this will work for you - I had a similar problem with a Kenmore fridge. I removed the ice tray and found a piece of ice stuck where the ice is made and dropped into the tray. Once I clear this obstruction, the ice maker worked again. Also, check for the mechanism that indicates that the ice tray is full. This may be jammed or malfunctionin.
