I understand that you are not able to turn on the notebook even though AC adapter is connected to the notebook. Even notebooks LEDs are not glowing. Let me assist you in this regard.
Jordan, if the notebook is not accepting the power from the Ac adapter, then the issue could be with the AC adapter or with the AC power jack on the motherboard.
To confirm this, once check with another AC adapter at any local HP authourized service centers like Bestbuy or Radio shack etc. If the issue is same with another AC adapter, then the issue could be with the AC power jack on the motherboard.
For those kind of issues HP recommends to replace the motherboard, if your notebook is out of warranty, then you can contact local HP authorised service center to fix this issue by replacing the Power jack on the motherboard.
