SOURCE: Hello-My Beko washing machine (WMA 1512 W)does not

recheck the brushes & pump/filter/outlet hose (make sure all cleaned out and impeller free to turn) your problem lies in there somewhere.

Testimonial: "Hello -The brushes have about 10mm left but will re-check ,the pump works well, I suspect the speed module board Regards Andyrooshous"

SOURCE: Washer won't spin.

From Howtomendit: key point I missed was that you need to pull the motor apart after you have taken it out of the machine before you can get access to the screws holding the brushes in. (ie: unscrew the four bolts). Not as difficult or scary as it looked!

please read thro first.
first unplug it, pull it out so you have some work space, take off back plate, remove belt undo (should be white rectangle plastic block with wire attached), remove green+yellow wire undo bolts which hold motor to drum, gently ease out motor (please be aware of sharp edges), run screwdriver down 1 side of motor so you put it back together same way you took it apart, unscrew 4 bolts that hold motor together take top bit of dont loose spacer ring, place to 1 side, remove middle comutator the end the brushes are touching will need a proper clean wd40 maybe wipe clean with cloth so its not dull let dry, undo carbon brushes, take plate off also clean then clean what they were attached to when dry replace in reverse order gently (with new brushes) then replace back on machine plug back in and test by running spin program found at bottom of dail if i have my mod/num right let it get to full spin watch motor if it sparks an looks like blackpool illuminations motors no good will need new 1 sorry.

SOURCE: Hotpoint WF220P has become very noisy during spin,

Remove drive belt, and spin drum by hand, if it feels rough or noisy, then the main drum bearings are worn.
If no noise from drum, could be a motor prob.
Please rate ,my solution.
Thanks.

Testimonial: "Thanks for the advice. It looks as if it's the bearings."

I have replaced the carbon brushes in my logixx 8 machine after error code F43 appeared .the machine works ok but the washing stays soaking wet on the wash programmes

Make sure the pump wires have not got accidently dislodged when changing the brushes. Also check the program cycles, you may have accidently selected a "no spin" cycle.

Hoover CA230 1300 Special Edition Washing Machine

I had the same problem. My husband checked the carbon brushes attached to the motor and ran the machine on spin. The brushes were sparking so he assumed they were worn and replaced them and hey presto machine works fine now. The brushes cost 23.99 and were just bought from a local shop but can be bought online cheaper. Hope this helps solve your problem. Essex

Sometimes it doesn't spin

might have a small blockadge in the pump if he pump doesnt get the water out in time it wont spin due to the water left in the pump or it could be the carbon brushes which are situated in the motor these are plastic with the carbon inside they are eld on by 2screws if these are lower then 8ml they are too low they need replacing

Washer doesn't reliably spin dry clothes

more than likely your carbon brushes which are situated in your motor locatable by a single wire on each side of your motor going into a plastic casing that holds the carbon if it doesnt have carbon brushes than it will have a module which is about 4in in length and is a circuit board this will need replacing which in some cases is not cheap at all
