Hi i just need to know how to hook up my marantz 2265b to my marants 5030b, i hook it up, it shows that music is playing with the db meter but no sound comes out of the speakers, i had it hooked up before but now i cant seem to remember how?

Any tape deck is connected to one of the receiver's TAPE OUT to Line Input; Tape In to Line Output. Select the specific Tape Monitor via the front panel to hear or monitor the tape deck.

laser cleaning cd's very rarely work. the only thing they are good for is if there is a build-up of dust on the lens. Sounds like you most likely need to have the laser replaced.

After reading toc of my Marant zcd5003 the display is "error" seeking help to find out the cause

No disc. - Load a disc into the tray.
Disc has been loaded upside down. Place the disc with the label side up.
Disc region code does not match region code of the player.
Disc type is not the correct type to play.
Disc is damaged or dirty. Clean the disc or try another.
Moisture may be condensed inside the unit. Remove the disc and the leave the power on for one or two hours.

follow the steps and fix it.

Hi can I hook up my marantz mm500u amp to my pioneer 305 vsx audio reciever

I presume you just want to slave the Marantz to play whatever the Pioneer is playing.

Run a pair of RCA cables from either the Pioneer Tape Monitor REC or the VCR/Tape 1 Out jacks to the desired Marantz Input jacks. DON'T activate the corresponding switch on the Pioneer.

Only the basic Leftand Right channel programming that the Pioneer plays will be available at the Marantz. You will NOT have centralized volume control at the Pioneer.

When I first plug it in it turns on and reads MTP DB MISMATCH FORMAT then it says NOT ENOUGH SPACE FOR MUSIC DB PLEASE FREE 8MB then it goes to where the music would be playing and that shows 0/0 NO FILES...

Music won't play

Some music services have a fixed-term license that they put on the songs - you may have to resychronize the Sansa to the computer AND the music service to regain playability. Alternatively, you could have a corrupt DB already - sad, but possible. The good news is that you can fix a corrupt DB by downloading the Sansa Recovery Tool from Sandisk's website. Good luck!

Hi spanky

The pre power combination would be the preffered rig. Has better power output, and more bang for your buck visually with the extra amp to the rack. The meters look great too. If you can go for them, then, do it. I would :) Just let me know which unit you would like to run up and I will photoshop up a rear view to show you how to connect it together. .
