Question about Nintendo Wii Console

1 Answer

My Wii console will turn on, but no signal is received at the TV. The console powers up, you can load and eject discs into it but nothing comes up on the TV. I tried switching TV's and it still didn't work. The Wii worked fine last week when it was last played.

If you switched tvs and no help than that tells you that the cable that hooks the wii to the tv is probably bad try a new component video or rca cable whichever you are using

My discs wont load

You could find the manual on the internet by google. Im afraid that it's possible that it possibly broke the disc drive or the part of the drive that automatically loads and ejects the disc.

Disc will not eject

Turn the Wii off and on again after about 20 seconds. Press the eject button again.

Unplug the Wii's AC power supply if Step 1 doesn't work. Wait 1 to 2 minutes, and trying to eject the disc again after turning the Wii back on.

Hold down the eject button for 5 to 10 seconds

Try ejecting the disc with the Wii at different angles. If you hold the Wii upside down, it may help the disc fall out.

Call Nintendo and send the Wii back if non of these steps work. In most cases, a disc stuck in the Wii should be covered by warranty.

Nintendo says to see if power light was coming on, AC adapter reset. unplug from both ends for 90 seconds.Hold eject button for five or 10 seconds.

When i try to load a disc it says to eject the disc and turn the power off

This drive should fix any reading issues you are having with your games, or issues inserting your games or ejecting them (or lack thereof). This is the entire DVD drive assembly mechanism replacement for your Wii including a new laser. If your discs are not ejecting, or you cannot insert a disc -- or you can insert a disc but it will not load, this is what you need to get your Wii going again!

Disc stuck in wii console

Your Wii will require Warranty service from Ninteno. However, if you send your unit chances are they won't return the disc.

How to open your wii – http://wiki-scene.com/Wii_disassembly
Once you get to – 'Remove 4 DVD drive screws' Dont do that, just take the 5 screw off the top of the Drive, and the drive will split into 2 and you can easily remove your disc. Reassemble and contact Nintendo for Warranty service.
