I replaced the cartridge on my Sharp UX-B750 inkje fax machine and it is giving me a message on the display to change cartridge and will not let me perform any other function.

Either the cartridge is not properly installed or check whether it is of same cartridge number as before of old cartridge or try to clean the brown dotted circuit of your printer and cartridge through moist tissue very carefully, or the replaced cartridge may be faulty.

Said that cartridge was empty after changing cartridge,got that cleared and now it will not receive a fax. What do I need to do

Your faxes are probably stored in memory. They automatically print when the a) cartridge is installed properly full, b) fax has paper, c) there is no paper jam.

There also may be a "Print Hold" function activated.

1. Press <print hold> [RCV DATA PRINT] will display.
2. Press "Right Arrow" on the <start/memory> button.
3. Enter 4-digit Print Hold code.
4. Press <start/memory>. Printing will begin. If the wrong code is entered [WRONG CODE] will display. Go back to step 3 and start again. Once you've entered the wrong code 3 times, you will return to your standby display.

Several stored faxes - how do i get them to print

You have one of these problems:
1. You are out of in and need to replace the print cartridge.
2. You have run out of printing paper.
3. You have a paper jam.

Once the problem is identified and corrected, the fax will automatically print the memory pages.

Install a refill UX-B750 cartridge but display still showing out of ink.

The machine is not identifying the cartridge properly. Attempt to reinstall the cartridge. It just may be installed incorrectly.

Sharp UX-B750 won't automatically answer calls.

Your reception mode is set to TEL/FAX or TEL mode, to set it to automatically receive faxes it should be set to FAX. Look at the LCD display ( right section ).

To change the reception mode you can print the HELP LIST by pressing COPY/HELP button.

Fax keeps saying out of ink

You can also put the machine in serves mode by unplugging the power from the machine, press both the the copy/help and the stop buttons at the same time, hold them and plug back the power until you see TF662B service mode.This also works well with refill cartridges. YJ

Refilled cartridge problem

There's some kind of a chip chip in the catridge that notifies the printer that the same cartridge has been refilled. to get around this check keep atleast 2 or 3 empty cartridges, refill and cycle them. That should do the trick!

SHARP UX-B750 facsimile will not receive faxes and displays the message "NO SERVICE".

Plug a regular phone into the wall jack and listen for a dial tone.

Make sure you are plugged into the LINE port of your fax machine.

Out of Ink

Did you get any help with this issue? My machine is giving me a "cartridge error"...I can't seem to get it fixed.
