That is a good question, Fisher Price is well known for good customer support, I would check www.fisherprice.com for customer support and ask for parts (if they have it) the other option is go to a Fisher Price store to see if they can order the part for you.

This just means that the memory of the camera is full. Plug in an USB cable or delete some pictures, then it'll work.

It sounds like your rechargable batteries might be bad.
Try a new set of batteries. It might be a cheap fix.

We had the exact same problem. We transferred the photos off of the camera and then it went away. So possibly it is a memory full error or a card read error. I am not sure but the transfer solved the issue.

It seems the files are write protected. Do you have an external memory card in the camera? If so, you might have the memory card's lock on. Remove the memory card from the camera and switch the lock off.

This is a solution for getting a working camera, not really to get your camera working. I phoned Fisher Price and was told to format the camera. Turn camera off, plug into USB, right click on the camera drive in my computer and choose format. When this didn't work for me, they sent me a mailing label to send the camera back so they could send me a new one. The formatting is worth a try, and at least you get a new camera when it doesn't work.

The camera has to plugged into a usb 1.1 port, it will not work with a usb 2.0 port. Try using the additional usb ports on a monitor or keyboard. Otherwise you will need to use a usb 1.1 Hub.
