Can't answer your screen question, but I can propose a workaround - your Toshiba laptop has a
monitor port on the back - you can plug in a standard monitor, and ignore the cracked screen
temporarily until you can replace it. hope this helps
The monitor port is the 15-pin analog VGA D-shell (female) port.
