I do not have a printer install disc for my stylus rx680 or an rx 620. when I go to print something it will generate print that describes page but not a copy of the page

Here is how to set it:
Open the properties page for the RX680 and on the "Main" tab, click on [Advanced]. A Note may appear egarding incorrect settings. Click [Continue]. Find the [ ] Grayscale box and check it, the [OK] [OK], etc.
The Specialty Print service on the Epson RX680 allows you to restore colors in faded photos, correct poorly exposed photos, reduce redeye, and even crop while you copy photos.
When the printer screen appears, click on Advanced. That should bring up another screen where you can choose to print in "grayscale." This will not give you a deep black print, but it will eliminate any color printing. Hope this helps.
