It is easy, You hook it up to two regular speakers ,End not subs, On less yopu want to fry it, If you don,t no how to hook it up poperly, Get some one that has done it before to do it for you ,Onless you have money to burn to buy enouther one when you fry this one, Because you don,t no how to hook it up (Properly) Get wireing instructions for it, It is to hard to explain how to hook it up ,Too some one that has never done it before,
Check to make sure it is not manually muted, if that doesn't work make sure your speaker wires are connected properly in the back of the radio and speakers work also. If it is run through an amplifier, make sure the amp works and the speaker wires are connected properly too! Don't forget to check gain on the amp too!
Hi, If you get a hum from speakers you probable don't have it hooked up right. (+ to+ - to -) The polarity is incorrect. The best way to fix this is have wires that are color coded or has one with a white stripe on one wire. This will make it easier for you to connect properly. Good luck.
If it stays on even when the speaker are not connected to it then the amp is fried but f it goes off when the amp is hooked up with no speakers then check the Ohm load on the amp and wire the speakers to match that but don't go below the ohm load on the amp...this site will help.... http://www.crutchfield.com/S-ApB0sVuYqNs/learn/learningcenter/car/subwoofers_wiring.html
You DON'T connect speakers to this... this is NOT a powered mixer... you MUST use external amplifier !!!! You use bvalanced (TRS) cables to a suitable power amplifier which connects to speakers. Some Behringer mixers such as the PMP5000 have built in amplifiers to drive speakers... yours does not.
Because there are special speaker connections on your unit it may make this harder to do. It may be possible to connect extra speaker wires directly to the end of your existing speaker wires. These wires could then be connected to a wireless transmitter or extender to feed sound to your speakers.
I will warn you this may cause sound quality issues as you would be basically splitting the power levels to your existing speakers.
