Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

Error 4 for Hoover HD Vision machines decodes as 'antiflood pressure stat, faulty inlet valve'.
Sorry but that means a repair man visit- nothing we can do other than advise that ;-0(

Dear Carol. I'm writting to you because I encounter the same problem with the same washmachine (Hoover Vision HD 9kg): fill/empty ok but the drum won't turn = error 09!
My guarantee is out of date only from 3 months and Hoover Switzerland won't help me (I have to pay for the reparation more than the machine price!!!)
I've read on another web forum that the problem could be due to an electrical component (BTB12-600BW), but before to try to change it by myself, could you please tell me how did you resolve your problem???

Hi On my washer when I press the start button when allready in opperation all the lkights flash and it stops as this second press of the button pauses the machine and need the start button to be pressed again to restart the machine

the error mean an problem by the temperatur sensor of the water. It is possible an defect of the sensor or cable between the sensor and the microcontroller or the controller self.
