So u;re saying that the BIOS tests are taking 10 minutes ?! Usually that happenes when the computer shutes down brutally (after power surges, by removing the battery ... by forced shut down). Try doing a BIOS update, and also set it so it will skip some tests or not to do through testing ....

My Lenovo tablet won't start again. It is charging and has a full battery. A black screen flickering after the LENOVO name is shown. Is there a possibility to give it a HARD RESET.

Hard Reset

1-Unplug the device and power off by holding the power button down
Wait 5 seconds, then

2- hold down both the volume up and power buttons (volume up is the side of the long button that is closest to the power button), until you see a screen with “Select Boot Mode” text on it. When you see that, release both buttons.

3-Press the volume up button to move the arrow until it is pointing at the “Recovery Mode” option, then press the volume down button to select it.

4-The “android” logo should appear for a few seconds, then you should be in the “Android system recovery” menu.

5-Use the volume up / down buttons to highlight the “wipe data/factory reset” option, then press the power button to select it.

6-Use the volume up / down buttons to highlight the “Yes — delete all user data” option, then press the power button to select it.

7-Once that has completed, you should be returned to the “Android system recovery” menu. Make sure the top option, “reboot system now”, is selected, then press the power button to select it.

8-The device should reboot and display the “android” logo, followed by the swirling coloured dots. You can then plug the device back in and wait for it to boot up. This will take a long time (up to around 5 minutes).

9-Once the device has booted back into the app, you should be able to set up the wifi, log in with your credentials and re-download your property data.

How to enter boot menu on a lenovo think center M73 computer

This can depend on your OS. For slower booting systems, press and release F12 repeatedly after pressing the power button. Release the button when you see the Choose Boot Device screen. Select the boot device and press Enter. (Note: some systems may not boot from all USB devices or CD/DVDs if they are set for a type of secure boot (UEFI).)

With some systems, you may need to enter the BIOS setup utility to allow the system to boot from a specific device. Try pressing F1 repeatedly after pressing the power button until you hear a lot of beeps or a splash screen. If there is a password for the setup utility, you'll need to enter that password. If you reach the Windows lock screen or the desktop, you missed the timing. Under Windows 10, go to the power icon in the Start menu (on the lower left). Press shift and click Restart. You will see an option for entering the BIOS on restart. Select this and wait. Once in the Setup utility look for the boot menu. You can change the order of the list. Press the correct buttons for save and exit to boot to the desired device.

I hope this helps.

(Note: some wireless keyboards may not work in the setup utility. Make sure that a wired keyboard isn't plugged into a USB 3.0 port if you need to load a USB driver to enable the port.)

Advanced boot options

Lenovo Basic Input/Output System (BIOS) settings allow you to quickly customize interactions between your operating system and your hardware, especially your hard drive or drives, memory and power supply.
You must get into the Lenovo BIOS before your operating system loads.
Though most users don't typically see options for entering or using the BIOS, multiple changes can be made to customize and optimize your system, such as changing your boot device order and changing the display brightness to conserve power.

Turn off your Lenovo computer.
Press the power button to start your system.
For best results, wait 30 seconds to one minute before starting your system.
This gives you a longer window in which to enter the BIOS.

Press "F1" as soon as the Thinkpad logo appears.
Depending on your Thinkpad model, you may be prompted to press either the blue "Access IBM" or the blue "ThinkAdvantage" button instead of "F1 or F2."
If this is the case, a message will appear stating "To interrupt normal startup, press (one of the listed buttons above)."
Select the "Start setup utility" to open the BIOS setup menu.
Follow the instructions provided in the BIOS setup menu to select BIOS menu sections, settings and to change options.
Next, navigate through the Bios setup pages using keybard arrow keys in order to find failsafe or optimized defaults press ENTER to select your option press F10 save to cmos and restart

Turn on your computer. Watch the display carefully while your PC starts. While the initial screen ( LENOVO ) is displayed, press the Lenovo Care button. The Rescue and Recovery workspace opens.

Click Restore your system > Restore my hard drive to the original factory state > follow the instructions on the screen.

If Rescue and Recovery did not launch, the motherboard may need replacing.

The Charger could be bad, Try replacing that, or let charge, then try to turn on. The laptop might not boot with AC power. kinda stupid but maybe. If that doesn't work, the AC adapter is bad.
