FWIW, it appears that the round dial on the far right is the stitch length selector. The round dial at the top is the zig-zag stitch selector.

Are you sure your machine is an RX-204B instead of an RZ-204B?

I could only find the Riccar REC6000 Owner Manual. I will try to find you a service and repair manual somewhere as well.

You can download a PDF manual from the following site. There may be a small charge but it will be worth having because you will have answers to other questions down the road. Good luck.

I would try to download a manual to see the part names. There is one on www.riccar.com and it is free but the pictures are very hard to see. You may be better to find out how much to fix it, and if too much, just buy a new machine. It looks pretty old and the new machines are amazing and super easy to use.

Most needles are suitable for all machines. The size of the needle depends on the thickness of the material you are trying to sew. Usually the finer the material, the smaller the needle.
