Problem "don`t boot up" in

power off machine, wait 10 seconds with the clear/stop button held down turn on the main power , get OK or reset then turn off wait ten seconds then on if code comes back replace the fuser unit the hot part continue to reset can cause fire ruining a perfectly good day

replace the black image unit. and ensure modification lock is installed to ensure proper connection if you pull out the black image unit is there black developer piled up in the rear???????

It looks like a service part rather than something you can change yourself as it may be buried in the guts of the machine. Not saying that it isn't possible, but does the machine hinge up at all?

Enter in the user menu and select blak/white or select in your computer before printing grayscale.

quote is probably in the right price range. you need to look at how many copies are on your machine. look at any future repairs/supplies that will be needed. like drum, developer unit. If these are also needing to be changed soon, you will have to plan on those costs also. Any comparable machine that you get get will be expensive to repair the big items. You have to put all of the money that you spent on the machine and find out how many copies you have made. you can then figure out the cost per copy. At the same time, if this machine does everything that you need from a copier, do you want to buy a new one at much higher cost.

If so on the control panel under original / copy. select 1:2, this will give you a double sided copy from a pair of single originals even off the glass.
