Hello,

if it does not power up, then it means its having a power problem. it might have worked fine in the past, but that's electronics for you. Power surge, irregular power supply, excess power supply, etc can affect the unit thereby not making it to power on.

This unit must have a power supply board in it where power enters from the mains. A capacitor, fuse, diode, etc may have been defective on the power board and maybe that's why its not making the unit turn on. There might also be some disconnection or something, inside the unit which is not making it to power on.

To actually find out what's wrong, you need to disassemble the unit with a screw driver and check what's wrong. You will be needing a meter in order to test the components on the power board, once you detect any bad component, you can make necessary replacement at any electronics accessories store withing our vicinity. This is the only way by which you can detect the problem.

Of course, testing the power board with a meter will require someone that has the ability. So it you can't, then you might be needing the help of a repairman or you can call a friend that has the ability to help you out.

I wish you the best of luck.

Regards.

Kenwood Protalk tk-3200U8P will receive, but not transmit. When talk button is push a loud beep will sound. Any suggestions?

Assuming it is programmed correctly, it is a weak, undercharged or bad battery. Transmit takes a lot more power than receive. A beep or no transmit, even if the Transmit light comes on can still mean the battery condition described.

Radio will not send

It is possible your Code for transmit is different than your Code for receive. Cobra makes so many models, you are not giving enough information. Also, Transmit takes a LOT of power, so even if everything is setup, if your batts are weak or old, the radio will receive, but not transmit. Also check your antenna, make sure it is tight and NEVER transmit without an antenna. Yes, all lights will work even with old batteries.

If the RAM is faulty then this could be the problem, get the RAM tested at your friendly computer repair shop.

Will transmit for a while and then quit

Check RF transistor may have leakage, "probably won't show up on a regular meter, carefully inspect board for bad solder connections, buy semiconductor cold spray may help tracking faulty part.

Unit just quit. won't start up. press start button and won't even light up

please provide the model number of the Samsung dishwasher.
if none of the lights light up, then a fuse might be blown somewhere. If the problem is the start buttion does not start the dishwasher , then the door latch switch could be faulty.

My customer has 6 motorola max trac vhf radios. all have same problem, they transmit just fine & then they just quit transmitting, they still receive but wont transmit until they turn unit off &...

If this is a new install, it is likely noise from the vehicles electrical system scrambling the processor of the radio. Put a filter on the power leads and check your install.

Loss of power

I have always assumed this has to do with the level of the signal coming in.
I have had these headphones for a few years, getting them at a discount outlet for cheap, and have been quite pleased with them.

The light on the front indicates 3 things.
1) no light = not transmitting and not charging
2) green light = transmitting
3) red light = charging

When there is sufficient signal to transmit, the green light comes on.
If you are getting the signal from a Stereo, the line output may NOT be enough to keep the transmission on.
There seems to be a sensor, that figures out if htere is an incoming signal to transmit. I have toyed with the idea of locating that and disabling, so it would always transmit what is incoming, even if a low signal! But I don't have the know how.

As is, I use the headphones with my PC and generally it finds the signal strong enough to continue to transmit.

.. Thanks... Andrew

PS..The toughest thing about these haedphones, is going to be finding NiCad batteries to keep them working. If you go in the store these days, you can find lots of NiMetal Hydride, and NiCad are gone from the shelves!
