I have the exact same problem as you. (I know it's a few months later) Just started to do it the other day. Sometimes taking the battery out for a little while, and then putting it back in helps, but it's only a temporary band-aid.
i just got the phone and it wont charge because of it

my fhone wont chare too it bars flash then they stop and go back to one. my sync has pissed me off from day one
I just started having trouble with mine. THe phone won't charge on the AC charger at all, and up until today, would take a charge from the car adapter.
If I squeeze the living **** out of the usb plug end (at the phone) I can get it to show a bar across the bottom, then the battery circles will show, then the phone shuts off.
I really like the phone, but I'm pretty pissed off right now. Supposedly the tech guy at AT&T can fix it, but only works one day a week, and it's Friday.
Anyone solve this?
my phone only charges when i hold the charger in or if i put something heavy on top of it. it just recently started happening and it's annoying the **** out of me.
