Dont know how to set voicemail and directory - Vtech Lands Phones

Look for the voicemail icon in your app directory that can allow you to to open up your voicemail and create and change message settings

1. Call your iPhone from another phone and try to leave yourself a voicemail.
2. Reset your network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
3. Reset your voicemail password.
4. Contact your carrier and make sure that you have the voicemail feature on your plan.

If you want to change your voicemail greeting, go into your voicemail and press 4 on the keypad. This is usually the number for personal options such as Voicemail greeting, name in the directory, and changing your voicemail password. Voicemail Activation can be found in Smart Sim Settings (also known as Sim Connect). Voicemail Activation is FREE, however, to deactivate your Voicemail, you have to visit the nearest SMART Wireless Center. Processing fee for deactivation is P336 (VAT Inclusive).

When you add a voicemail there is an option for DIRECTORY, say YES and that will set up a directory.

in your subscribers mailbox select yes you want to be included in you companies directory .

You did not say what kind of voicemail you have but since you have a DK16e I'll assume it is a Stratagy. The Company Greeting is usually split between mailboxes 990 and 991. MB 990 is the introduction ( Thank you for calling ABC Company) and MB 991 are the instructions ( If you know your parties extension please enter it now .... ). The Admin mailbox to set this up is 999 if you have three digit extension numbers and the default password is 999997#. If this password has been changed then you will have to get a local Toshiba dealer to help you as the password will have to be reset via a computer connected to the maintenance port of the voicemail. If you have a computer already set up to program the voicemail then that is where you will also take care of the Directory issues. If you go to www.wedophones.com and click on manuals, scroll down to Toshiba, click on Toshiba, then scroll down until you see Stratagy Voicemail you will find your Admin Guide, Good Luck and let me know how you make out or if I can help ......mitelmike

That needs to be done in the voicemail admin. The dial by name adheres to what label is programmed in the voicemails admin. If you know how to modify mailboxes, you can change the names.

It depends on what system it connected to. On my BCM450 voicemail must be set up by that individual to see their name in the directory.
