Dell-n5050 laptop; windows failed to start; code-0xc000000e; boot failed because required device is inaccessible. I have Dell OS media stick. and is there a free fix for this problem?

That code is a Windows boot error. I'm not sure what you can do with the Dell OS media stick but the traditional solution with a regular hard disk is to take a Windows 7 OS disk, boot with it, and run startup repair. Here's a link to Startup Repair: Startup Repair Microsoft Windows

Computer failing to start

Your Operating System maybe corrupted. If you have the installer that it came with (usually a CD), you may need to use that when repairing. Your computer should extract the missing/corrupted files from the installer

Fujitsu Lifebook N6470 will not boot

Most times these kinda errors are issue with some kinda corrupted driver. Have you tired to boot in to safe mode. To do so shut down the laptop and when you press power to turn it on start tapping F8 key until advanced windows start up shows up.If you cant i would consider taking it back to store where you got it since pressing this button is not supposed to do anything. Most new computers come with Operating System reinstall built in which kinda sucks since some times you just cant get to it like in your case. Restore disk shoud work and you can try making Bios settings back to original since Vista will boot to the CD/DVD drive if it detects media. If this does not work i would not spend too much time on it and would replace it or have it fixed if you have extended warranty. I would also be very careful about posting Product key on any web sites. Hope this helps.

Windows failed to start. An error ocurred while attemting to read the boot cofiguration data.

This is a software problem maybe the operating system should be corrupted. You need a recovery disk get a windows CD to recover load the windows CD to the CD drive once the laptop required you to boot CD press any key to boot. Wait until the system required you to repair the windows.

Windows cant access required registry files

if you have a xp cd, put it in, start the setup, and enter repair console.

In repair console you should see a

c:>

prompt, type cd windows
cd repair
copy *.* c:\windows\system32\config\

type exit after files have been copyed, overwrite if asked.

type exit

restart pc and try to start windows if this fails

go back to xp setup and perform a repair installation.
