Re: I am using Panasonic KX-T7730 i could not make out...
Is your extension programmed to allow dial 0 calls? The phone is just an instrument, it has no programming. Guess where the program is and who controls it? Yep, see your system administrator.
0 is working for internal calls but when im trying to make outgoing calls which starting by 0 its showing "Restricted"0 is working for internal calls but when im trying to make outgoing calls which starting by 0 its showing "Restricted"

Programming a Panasonic KX-T7730 phone to share the same line with a cordless phone using a splitter requires specific steps to ensure proper operation. Keep in mind that splitting a phone line may affect the overall call quality and performance, so it's important to follow the instructions carefully. Here's a general guide to help you set it up:
Obtain the Necessary Equipment:
Panasonic KX-T7730 phone
Cordless phone (compatible with the line splitter)
Telephone line splitter (designed to split the line to multiple devices)
Connect the Splitter:
Plug one end of the telephone line from the wall jack into the "Line" or "Input" port on the splitter.
Plug the other end of the splitter into the "Line" or "Input" port on the KX-T7730 phone.
Plug the cordless phone's base unit into the "Phone" or "Output" port on the splitter.
Configure the KX-T7730:
Lift the handset of the KX-T7730 phone.
Press the "Program" button, followed by the desired extension number (e.g., "101") or the "Intercom" button.
Select the Line:
Press the "0" or "CO" button on the KX-T7730 phone's keypad to select an available outside line (usually labeled as "CO" lines).
Make a Test Call:
Place a test call from the cordless phone to ensure that both devices are functioning as expected. Verify that you can make and receive calls from both phones.
Adjust Settings (if needed):
Depending on your specific requirements and the features of your phone system, you may need to adjust settings such as ringing patterns, call forwarding, and call waiting. Refer to the user manual for your KX-T7730 phone for instructions on adjusting these settings.
Testing and Troubleshooting:
Test the setup thoroughly by making and receiving calls from both the KX-T7730 phone and the cordless phone.
If you encounter any issues with call quality, dropped calls, or interference, consider consulting a professional technician or your phone service provider for assistance.
Has it worked before or it's a newly installed system.
Could be programming issues.
Try dialing 0 first > dial tone then outbound call.
Its either 9 or 0 depending on configuration
You don't. Panasonic analog system phones have one ring tone. You can change the cadence (single double or triple) ring from outside calls, but not the tone.
Let's pretend that this is a TA-824 system with DISA and it's answering all phone calls. It's not likely that you can do much of anything unless you know what system the phone is connected to and have the manual and ability to do programming. With a bit of reprogramming, you can make the system perform like a regular system.
I'd suggest a call to the Panasonic service company.
that is not pssible to set from telephone
there is a PABX device (panasonic kx-tes824 ) fixed in wall
from that PABX check 101 extension number (maybe 10, wich phone connected jack1 )
from there is only you can program
Basically, there are 2 ways of programming the date and time - the short way and the long way. If you are using the KX-T7730 phone on a Panasonic KX-Txx 308/824 system:
SHORT WAY: From the Switcboard / Main telephone ( ext 101, 10 or 9 ) with the handset on the cradle/hook: 1. Press PROGRAM 0 2. Enter Date and Time ( The format is: yymmdd, 1 to 7 1=Monday 2=Tuesday etc, hh:mm, 0 or 1 0=AM 1=PM ) see example 3. Press AUTO DIAL / STORE to save your changes 4. Press PROGRAM to exit program mode
EXAMPLE: If the date and time is 3 February 2010 Tuesday 2:15 pm you will enter as follows: 100203 2 02:15 1
LONG WAY: From the Switcboard / Main telephone ( ext 101, 10 or 9 ) with the handset on the cradle/hook: 1. Press PROGRAM * # followed by the system password ( default is 1234). 2. Now press 000 and then SP-PHONE. Enter the year. 3. Scroll to the month with the right scroll key (located at the right bottom corner of the phone). To change the month use the AUTO ANS / MUTE button. 4. Now scroll right again and change the date and day. To change the day, again use AUTO ANS / MUTE 5. Scroll right again and the time will appear. Set the time. To change am/pm scroll to it, and again, use the AUTO ANS / MUTE button. 6. Press PROGRAM to exit program mode and you are done.
Hello, if you are using this phone with a 308 or 824 system, while the handset is still on the cradle / hook press PROGRAM and then the one touch button you want to assign a CO line to. Now press 0 followed by the line port number ( example 1 ). Press AUTO DIAL / STORE to save the changes. Press PROGRAM to exit program mode. PLEASE vote if this was helpful
