I had the same problem after 1 year, about 20 days after the warranty ran out, go figure. Anyway, check the thermostat on the blower housing (take the lint duct off the back and it's all the way in the front, mine had two brown wires on it, the one next to it is the thermistor (aka, what controls the heating element)). I had the problem that after I pushed start, I could hear the drum motor relay and heater relay kick on, and the timer would count down, but it would not spin or heat up. I measured the thermostat and the tech data said it should be <1 ohm, mine was an open circuit, took the it out of the housing and as I figured there was lint balled up on the inside of the blower housing on the screws that held the thermostat in place, so no airflow over the thermostat to keep it "cool" and it blew the fuse inside. I measured all other thermostats, switches and the heating element and everything was in spec. Ran a jumper and the dryer started right up (careful if you try, lint flies all over and heating element will kick on so be ready to stop it). $9 part through my local supply house. Samsung customer service basically told me it needed to have a repair service schedule because I'm too stupid to fix it.

There can be many reasons why your dryer will not start or turn...
The most common causes are the belt breaking or jumping off, or the motor goingbad...
