You have to open up the inside, go inside the aluminum looking boxes. If you are looking for the fuse, it is located near the Power Switch. It's a 4AH/250VP fuse. I'm going to replace mine today and see if it solved the problem. I'll be back in touch.
I also noticed a couple of capacitors that have bulges at the top. I'm going to replace the fuse first and then work with the capacitors next.

Where is it located on the t.v .
Check the main fuse in the power supply. If its good look for swolen electrolytic capacitors. If any look swolen, replace them and try the set again.

I have the same problem. Note the PLTV-3250 does not have a seperate power supply. Where would the fuse be?

I went to turn on tv this am the light was red as normal as soon as I pressed it went dark. Haven't been able to get power at all. Any suggestions?

my daughter and I were watching our tv, and it just went off. no lights or anything, so I got the other one..same tv from my room, hooked it up and after about a week, it did the same thing. Now I have 2 of these *%@ ing tv's and they both don't work. Bought them in 2006 from ShopNBC. How do I fix this? How do I take the back off of them with that silver stand thing back there? Do I unscrew it too? What do I look for after I get it apart. Don't have money to take them anywhere.
TV shut off and will not come back on. I would like to check the fuses. I understand that you do not have the tv plugged in, and you probably have to take the whole back of the tv off to do this. Do I still have to worry about getting shocked with the tv unplugged? Some reviews I have read on repairing tv's you can still get shocked when they are unplugged.
