The E1- F5 error is a door lock error.

The control (TIMER) has likely failed in this instance - BUT...

Sometimes when you disconnect power to a range and reconnect it the electronic range control gets confused.
You should disconnect power again for 15 seconds and reconnect and see if that helps.

If it doesn't cure the E1- F5 error hold the bake button in until E0- F2 appears in the display.
This is the error for a stuck button on the keypad and is the way to clear the memory of the electronic range control.

Sometimes these work, but if the control has failed it won't make any difference.

What can should i do? what can be the issue?

Unfortunately the Self clean function will often break ovens. The heat is just too severe and breaks elements, control boards and the door locks and wiring. You need a service call. If you are VERY lucky, disconnecting the power at the breaker for an hour MAY release the lock and error message.

Self-Clean Ovens
The oven is cleaned by heat, at temperatures above normal cooking temperatures. During the cleaning cycle the oven is heated to about 880 degrees Fahrenheit (471° C.). At this temperature, food soils inside the oven decompose, leaving behind a small amount of ash.

My advice is never use the self clean function.

Oven locked !

You will need to press and hold the clear or stop button for at least 3 seconds, if it is locked due to a cleaning function you will have to wait for it to cool down until it allows you to open it. You could do a hard reset and flip your circuit breaker for your kitchen off and then back on a moment later and try again.

Frigidaire door lock won't reset

Hello Steven Krenz - Was the unit in self-clean mode? Try pressing and holding the "Clear/Off" button to stop any operation of the EOC. Do this at the same time while pushing and hold the light switch to the left of the door lock. Usually this will trick the oven into unlocking the door. If it is ineffective, try resetting the unit by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and redo the steps. If door continues to maintain locked while open, the unit may possibly have a faulty door latch or a communication problem with the EOC. Contact a professional to move forward accurately.

Stove went completly dead during self cean no power door remains locked

Check the breaker for your kitchen even if it isn't flipped, flip it off and on again.. I had the same problem it turned out that my dryer and stove were on the same breaker, so I couldn't run them both at the same time.

Ge profile oven lock button won't go off

  • 1.Press the "Clear/Off" button on the control panel to reset the oven. This will clear the lock setting and unlock the door.

2.Allow the oven to cool to room temperature to avoid turning the lock on again during this heating cycle.

3.Reset the oven to the temperature you require to finish cooking by pressing the correct temperature control on the control pad.

  • 1.If your GE Profile microwave won't turn on, unplug it, then plug it back in. A power outage may have occurred due to a power surge. Check your home's fuses and circuit breakers.

2.Set the clock of your GE Profile microwave. Certain models will not operate until you set the clock. Select the "Clock" key and type in the correct time.

  • 3.Hold down your microwave's "Off" button. You may have accidentally hit the control-lock feature on your GE Profile microwave. Hold down the "Off" button for three seconds to turn the lock off.

  • 4.If the sensors of your GE Profile microwave are not working correctly, remove the food from the machine. If the sensors detect food-surface temperatures over 200 degrees Fahrenheit, it will not work properly until the area cools down.

  • 5.Contact GE Support if you are unable to resolve the issue on your own. Call the GE Support hotline or browse the help library on the GE website. You can also schedule a service visit on GE's website.

Hello, verify that the oven is connected to its power source. The oven may sometimes lock down if experiencing a power surge or similar electrical problems.Additionally, check that a fuse hasn't been blown in your home's fuse box. Some older homes may not have the proper wiring to support a high power appliance such as a whirlpool oven.If not you are not sure your wiring is sufficient, consult a local electrician.

    Door locked after power surge/failure

The question here is how long did you leave the breaker off? Gaggenau ovens have a memory and I always advise turn the oven off for 5 mins before turning the breaker back on. Give that a try. The first thing the oven does when the power is reapplied is go thru a test phase which included locking and unlocking the door. The key symbol will go on and off during this. Sometimes you have to also can run a self clean then cancel it to reset the lock. This works as well.

Door locked and screen is dead after Auto Clean

Gracias, sounds like your thermal cut out opened in the back. Part number 4451442. It's a small thermal fuse that can open during cleaning killing power to the oven. It's located in the back of the oven. Two wires going to it, orange and red according to the diagram. Cost is around 39.00. You can ohm it out, should show continuity. You can do the job yourself. Look the part up on the net so you know what you are going after. Or just let the repair service you think you know what is wrong and have them give you an estimate..Catriver..post back.
