Power doesn't come on. I have tried other outlets, flipped the circuit breaker. Was working one minute, now nothing. Was a gift last June and I don't have receipt to get warranty service. What do I do? Is there a reset button or another way to get the power going? Thank you! Julie

SOURCE: No power after checking outlets and circuit

Hi,

The problem is often that the machine develops a leak in the hose that is rightover the transformer...the water drips onto the transformer and kills that...then you have no power to run the machine.

Here is a tip that I wrote about this problem...

Reebok GTS40 treadmill not working

Hi Chris,
Hope so you're doing well, fact that it runs briefly and then flips the fuse suggests a potential overload or short circuit problem. To troubleshoot the issue, start by checking the power source and ensuring that the circuit breaker or fuse can handle the treadmill's electrical load.

Inspect the power cord for any signs of damage, fraying, or loose connections. Make sure it is securely plugged into the outlet. Additionally, examine the motor control board for any visible signs of damage, such as burnt components or loose wires.

Testing the motor by disconnecting the power and manually rotating the treadmill belt can help identify any obstructions or issues with the motor or belt tension. If you are unable to identify or resolve the problem on your own then download now user guide, it is advisable to consult a qualified technician or contact the manufacturer's customer support for further assistance.

Hope so this will help you!

Two of the electrical outlets in our kitchen have no power. I checked to make sure the connections were tight and they were, still no power. Then I replaced both of them with new receptacles (ones that...

Each outlet receives power from previous outlet box or switch box in a long chain of parallel wiring back to ceiling box, or junction box, and then back to circuit breaker.
Use process-of-elimination to find problem.
Locate all boxes on same circuit breaker. Locate box before the two dead boxes... it can be in ceiling light, or switch box, or outlet box. Then test those wires. Look for loose quick connect where wires are pushed into hole on back of device, or loose white wires twisted together and shoved to back of box.

My maytag microwave blew the ciruit breaker a several times last night. I reset the circuit breaker each time. Then the last time, I reset the circuit breaker and the microwave did not get power back....

If there's no other appliance on that circuit, then please stop trying to use the microwave. You could be dealing with a dead short, and those sometimes leave people,,,DEAD!

I would be really cautious about trying to use it anymore without checking it first for a direct short.

You need to allow the circuit breaker more time to reset, flip to off and give it 2 minutes, then turn it back on. You should feel the distinctive click, as well as hear it if it's working properly.

Circuit breakers can go bad after repeated failures within a circuit.

The outlet could also be damaged now, but normally it's the circuit breaker getting too hot with repeated failures.

If there are a number of other items on the same circuit, then try the microwave in a plug that you know has no other items being used at the same time, preferably while wearing heavy duty leather insulating gloves to protect yourself from any possible shock. If the circuit breaker blows, you've got a possible electrical short within the microwave.
Good luck!

Woke up this morning and the fridge was not working, It is like there is no power on to it. I checked the breaker and it was not tripped I did reset it to check but still nothing.

If there is not lights or anything in the refrigerator, then you aren't getting power. Start out checking the outlet - if you don't have a multimeter to check it, use a hair dryer plugged in to that outlet to see if it will work. If it doesn't then it is between that outlet and the main circuit breaker box or even a bad circuit breaker.

If it does work or you have lights in your refrigerator it is probably either the starting capacitor, start relay or compressor.

LG refrigerators are more sensitive to power fluctuations than other models and we have had to replace a lot of starting caps and relays - but sometimes it is the compressor.

Hope this helps!

Hello. I just plugged my danby and there's no light, no nothing: it doesn't work? It used to work perfeclty last summer. What can I do?

Marie, the problem may be with the receptacle that it's plugged into. Unplug the AC unit and plug a lamp into the receptacle to see if it works. If it doesn't, the circuit breaker for that outlet may be tripped in your home's circuit breaker panel. Or the receptacle may have a loose wiring connection or internal damage, which wouldn't necessarily trip the circuit breaker, until something like an AC unit is plugged in.

Hope this helps you troubleshoot and solve the problem.

My de'longhi magnifica coffee maker trips the

Yes it is possible, but here is what you have to do first, try a different outlet, that is not on same circuit , another part of house, even garage. If it still trips breaker, then more than likely it's a machine problem that is causing this. If it doesn't trip, then you can put it back where it was, but then have to maybe move other items on that circuit else where if your fond on that spot for the machine. Espresso machine have a huge surge electric demand when on heat mode. Like all kitchens they have several out let's on same circuit , if you still want it in same area, then have to move other stuff to other outlets that don't share circuit. And no you don't want to up circuit breaker to larger breaker as wires might not be rated to handle larger breaker. Let me know if my idea works, thanks mike from fixya

I have two Haier HDN655E dehumidifier's. One works fine and the other wont come on. I have tried unplugging and plugged back in, hit the start button and nothing happens. Is there a reset switch or a...

Have you tested the outlet it's plugged into, to make sure it still has power? If it doesn't, check the circuit breaker panel in you home for a tripped circuit breaker. If there is one, unplug the dehumidifier, before resetting it. Then plug the dehumidifier back in. If the circuit breaker trips again, the problem is within the dehumidifier or the outlet is faulty (i.e. Loose wire, burned wire, broken outlet). If the outlet is not faulty, you should contact Haier America Parts and Repair 877-337-3639.

Hope this helped you to troubleshoot and solve the problem. Please let me know. Thanks.
