Need a solution for failure of the ialmrnt5 display driver
Hello, I've Previously had this problem while using both the onboard and an extra pci videocard. The easiest way for me to fix it was usually going to the hardware manager, removing all drivers for all video devices, turning off the computer. Then when it is back on, do not let it reinstall the drivers, instead make sure your intel chipset has the newest drivers, if it does, then make sure the intel video card drivers are installed and working properly, then move onto the pci videocards drivers.
In this order, CHIPSET, ONBOARD VIDEO, ADDON VIDEO CARD (Is you use one). Reboot between each one to ensure the settings save.
Another strange problem i have every now and then, is that when i use an image (VERY LARGE IMAGE) as my desktop, the settings for the onboard intel "forget" themselfs, They just, stop, and the card always starts in 8bit mode with the lowest screen size. Changing the background image for my login page(NOT WELCOME SCREEN, ONLY LOGIN PAGE BACKGROUND) it continued to remember settings.
Other than this, the intel driver uses a dom+ service on the windows machine to read/write settings, if you have disabled dom+ or any of its dependencies, you may not be able to use the intel driver set.
