I have a 50" Toshiba Theaterview (TP50G60) with the following problem. After turning on the tv set for several minutes (15-20 minutes), I seem to have a convergence problem. The image will be unfocused with greenish outlines. If I turn off and back on, the problem goes away. The same thing will happen a few minutes later. In some cases, I can go several more minutes without it recurring. Almost as if this happens when the set heats up. Has anyone experience the same problem?
I have a Toshiba TP50G60 Rear Projection TV I moved it the night before and now the convergence is off. I can move the Red with the Remote but the Blue will not move up or down only left to right. Could it be that something is loose in the back ? If so how do I fix it ?

If you are capable of some basic troubleshooting you can determine what's wrong but you won't likely be able to fix it yourself. If you remove the TV's back panel, you can locate three plug connectors for the convergence correction yokes. You pull the red, blue, and green connectors and then plug the TV back in and hit the power button. If the TV comes on, its a failure of the convergence output ICs and will cost $350-450 if you call in a service company.
This does not sound to me like a convergence roblem. It could be a shorted picture tube. That would put the set in a shutdown condition. Normally in Toshibas , the picture remains on with
a convergence problem. Here is something you can try, but you must be very careful. Remove one crt board at a time from all three tubes. if the set stays on after one of the crt board are removed , then that is the shorted picture tube.I cannot caution you on how care full you have to be trying this procedure.
