SOURCE: How can i turn the aux option on on my jvc kd-g801

it's not for running your ipod or whatever else, it's for steering wheel control for those cars that have the feature. that's what it says in the manual anyway, there's gotta be a way to run the ipod through though for sure

JVC KD-G801 CD player has light on (on) button but doesnt switch on when pressed

Look for a pinhole button on the face, just left of the #1 radio preset. Use a ball point pen or paper clip to lightly hold this button for 2-3 seconds. You may do this with the key on. This will reset the radio's microprocessor.

Let me know if this helps.

Hi I have a JVC KD-G801 car cd player/radio. Today a mechanic uninstalled it from a car I have which I will be selling and he installed into a newer Peugeot 306 I bought at the weekend. The stereo is...

Yes... the wire designated for constant power which powers the clock and some of the lessor memory functions is disconnected.
I would remove the radio and look for the lead that is disconnected and have a constant power lead attached to it to cure this issue.
Have the mechanic who did it the first time do it.. as it was already paid for him to do so in the first place...

I have removed my JVC KD-G801 from my car but realised that there is still a CD inside the unit. How do I remove it?

Hook your power wires and ground up to a cordless drill battery , 12 volt, or 14 volt. Or use jumper wires from car battery. Hit eject. You don't need all the speakers etc hooked up.

well if there is alittle hole thing on the radio, you have to buy a wire addapter at walmart, then plug one end in the headphone hole and one end in the radio hole.

Connecting iPod to JVC KD-LH810!?!

Hi, KD-LH810 has no option for external input. Refer to the picture attached. It is only front and rear line outputs. Don't get disappointed. Buy the accessory cable KS-U100 and you are set. This info is from the installation manual.

Connecting an Ipod to a JVC KD-G310

Try this, you can connect thru CD Changer Input, that called J-Link. There is cables, that goes from J-Link to 3.5 mm jack.
So you need to buy on the ebay "JVC J-Link to 3.5 mm".
Best regards, Zhenya.

Help

Hi, Normally, your JVC Car Stereo will not allow direct connection to an Apple iPod. However, there are several aftermarket interface adaptor that will allow you to do so: 1. Connect the iPod to a JVC KS-PD100 which in turn is connected to the CD changer jack of the KD-G720 (rear of the unit). Set the stereo to CD changer external input setting and you're ready to go; 2. Connect the iPod to an FM Transmitter such as the Griffin iTrip (w/ Dock connector) which in turn will broadcast the IPod music as an FM signal. Operating the KD-G720 on FM radio setting will receive the IPod's broadcast music. Hope this be of some help to you. Pls post again how things turn up. Good luck and kind regards.
