One day I tried playing a song and after that it just freezed up. Now I try to turn it on and it just has the intro SANDISK thing, than freezes, and does the same thing over and over. I try holding the Off button thing for 15-20 seconds, but It just turns off. I try turning it on again, just does the same thing. Please help!

No no ive solved the problem the only thing u have to do is to plug the sansa with the hold button in orange while you press the rec button this will turn the sansa into recovery mode, then just create a new text document and rename it to sansa.fmt NOTE: this will format your device...

then download the latest firmware for your player and unzip the contents into the player NOTE: DO NOT PUT ANY OTHER KIND OF FILE IN THE PLAYER WHILE ITS IN RECOVERY MODE AND NEVER TRY TO FORMAT IT USIG WINDOWS THIS WILL COMLPETELY RUIN YOUR PLAYER..

ok you should have 4 files in the player right now ona that says version.txt
sansa.fmt
BL_SD_boardSupportSD.rom
PP5022.mi4

the last two are the firmware files, you can download the latest firmware from sandisk webpage...

finally safe dismount your sansa and it will start the format process and the firmware installation then your sansa should display the language selection screen and all will b solved (it worked for me XD ) so try it...

Try unscrewing the back and taking the battery out for a minute and replace and see if that helps.

SanDisk freezes when trying to play a song, then it restarts itself.

Go to my computer scroll to sansa or your MP3 player and open the music folder and open each sub folder and delete Songs manually then delete the folders them selfs then format a couple of times hope this works.........Try and drag and drop from your music folder to the media folder on the player make sure usb mode is mtp this will show you all the folders Use your windows explorer for the transfer... much easier.....
Then disconnect from your computer and see if it worked
Hope it does..........Please rate

The songs are in the wrong format. this player will not play iTunes, for instance.

Sansa Fuze supports MP3, WMA, secure WMA, Audible (AA), audiobooks and podcasts in
