It is pretty easy to set Firefox as your default. First click on Tools, then click Options. If you don't see the top menu, hit the ALT key on your keyboard. Once you are in the options screen, click on Advanced. There should be a "System Defaults" section on the lower part of the menu. Click on Check Now and it should let you pick Firefox as your default browser.

At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button (Tools menu in Windows XP) and then click Options. Select the Advanced panel, then click the General tab, and then click Check Now.
Select Yes to set Firefox as your default browser.
If Firefox still isn't the default browser, see Setting Firefox as the default browser does not work.
Note: MSN Messenger and other applications may open Internet Explorer regardless of which browser is the default.

please try this:If you go to the control panel, and double click on "default Programs" the last of four options will be "Set Program Accesses and Computer Defaults". Tell the User Account Control prompt to "continue", then click the radio-button by the "custom" option, and then hit the expand arrows to the far left, it'll take you to a bunch of options. the first is "Choose a default web browser"
hope it helps!

How to set goggle as default browser

Google is a search engine not a browser.
You can run any browser such as Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox and get them to default to Google as the default search engine or you can save Google as a Favourite in IE or a Bookmark in Firefox.

To set Google as the default home page in IE.
Open Internet Explorer then enter www.google.com when Google page opens then Click on Tools - Internet Options
In the General tab click Use current.
Now when you open IE then Google automatically opens.

To set Google as the default home page in Firefox.
Open Firefox then enter www.google.com when Google page opens then Click on Tools - Options
In the General tab click Use current pages.
Now when you open Firefox then Google automatically opens.

If you are using any other browsers then setting up Google as the default page is configures in a similar method.

I want to change my browers to mozilla firefox

Are you trying to set Firefox as the default browser (i.e., the browser that opens up if you click on a web link in some other program)?

There are two ways to do that -- either should work.

Method #1 - through Windows (XP/Vista/7):
(1) Go to Start > Control Panel > Default Programs
(2) Click on "Set your default programs"
(3) Under the "Programs" list on the left, highlight "Firefox". Then on the right side, click on "Set this program as default".

Method #2 - through Firefox
(1) In the browser, go to Tools > Options > Advanced
(2) On the "General" tab, under "System defaults", place a checkmark in the 1st box ("Always check to see if Firefox is the default browser"). The click "OK".
