This morning it would drain but wouldn't spin after it drained .. I unloaded it and went home at lunch and moved it out then tried it again and spinned without a load in it. But it did make and unusual clicking sound when it finished the spin cycle. What could be the problem?

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
(It could be something stuck in the drain motor blades)

Although you say that it drained I would gently suggest as a first step that you check the drain motor lint tray/filter. So many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters and many machines will not even go to spin or release the door lock if there is any water still left inside.
Here are my complete guidance notes for checking both the drain motor filter and the drain motor ;-0)
-------------------------------------

If you are unsure where the filter is, it is often behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!) and most are held in by a round cover/knob. Sometimes the filter will not come out with the cover and you will have to persuade it to come out to play!

REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT!
It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. Using something suitable like a glove see if it is easy to briefly slow the motor down. If it is easy then the motor is malfunctioning!
Try again with a load and, if these actions have not cured the problem, it could be the main motor. Motors will show weaknesses when commanded to spin.

If this has assisted you please score accordingly.
Thanks and good luck!

WHERE CAN I ORDER A NEW BLADE FOR MY TOASTESS FOOD GRINDER MODEL TGR88

Hello Charles,

I tried toastess.com... Looked good

clicked on customer contact... and that window went into ETERNAL SPINNING (still circling the drain...

I've done my usual ask & bing searches = (nothing)...
also AMAZON & eBay... (zip).

I'm thinking your plan should be ...

using your own documents to contact their planet... or pack a lunch (or three) and continue to camp on their web-site until their SADM decides to come back to work...

Good luck with that

Hello, I have a front load LG TROMM WM2277HB and yesterday it wouldn't spin anymoreand there was a noise coming from inside like 2 metal cylinders were rubbing on each other. I called SEARS Serv

if the machine fails to spin and makes noise there are thee things to check .if it fails to drain the water check if something is stuck on the drain pump no 2 turn the drum with your hand and check if the drum is moving freely if not something is stuck between the drum and the housing if the bearings are faulty the machine spins but makes alot of noise towards the end of the cycle i hope this will help you.

Mvwx600xw0 wont drain and spin

The out of balance is why it does not spin. You can manually stop the machine, and spin the basket. Then move the clothes until it is balanced. Then start it again on rinse & spin or drain & spin as appropriate. When you get tired of this, try below.

Or you can change the "Soil Level" to heavy or very heavy". This increases the water level and helps it balance the load.

Frigidaire Affinity Front Load Washer wont drain.

If your pump had something in it, it wouldn't have had to clog it, but rather just stopped the internal spinning. My coworker removed a dollar bill from his water pump, and it fixed the problem he was having (same as you've described) and the water pump worked well after it was re-installed.
Worst case scenario, you reinstall it and it doesn't drain and you spend 40 or 50 bucks online for the part. I would reinstall and see if it works. I'd bet on it.

Kenmore model # 110.23832100 Washer would drain but wouldn't spin or aggitate. Replaced coupler. Now will spin and agitate, but will not drain.

sounds like it's in the re-assembly since the water pump is directly connected to what you just did. take it apart once again and make sure all is put back right and water pump is properly seated on motor shaft.

Continuing to run, even when switched off.

Your problem may be the electronic control board/timer assembly. Contact an appliance service company.

Car won't start after rear-end collision

Sounds like electrical drain-
Trunk light on, dome light staying on.
Something along that line.
You could try pulling the associated fuses until you get the car in for repairs.
