MP3 won't turn on

When charging, the battery indicator will cycle from the current battery level to full. Once the battery is fully charged, the indicator will stop cycling.

Typically it takes approx. 6 hours to charge the battery from empty to full. (MMP8565 2GB Digital Audio Player)

Try deleting some of the data in your device. then recharge it before connecting to pc to make sure that it is not low battery. Some device didn't work if it does not have any charge. If not reformat your device for it to work

what kind of player do you have?

The user guide (p 7) mentions pressing the Power On/Off/Stop button (presumably only once, but see below) to charge the battery if the charging does not start automatically when the uncharged player is connected via USB.

The following is from Memorex online FAQs. Hope it might be helpful:
Connect the player with the supplied USB cable. After the cable is connected, press the power button twice. The battery icon in the upper right corner will start filling with bars as it charges.

You just plug the usb into the memorex and plug the other part into the cpu...don't you read the instructions lol ?_?

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard

Plug it back in to the computer, delete the last file, and it should work.

When you take it off charge you must take a pin and stick it in the reset button, it will turn on
