Yes, with this model, Mix and match is ok. Different sizes/speeds of memory can be used together as long as their specification are qualified by the systems. For instance, a laptop can use one 512MB and one 2GB of memory for the total of 2.5GB system memory. Mixing two different speeds of memory modules would result the system to run at the speed of the slower memory between the two modules.

I want driver of 1.3M PIXEL web cam of model 7757and serial number EB08660989

Hello Thakur,

You do not say what operating system you are using.

But you can download drivers for that model laptop from the Lenovo website.

The website link is:
http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/default.page

There are a few options to find the correct model so you can download the correct driver.

For example, if you choose Browse Products under the support website, you will see a dropdown list of menu options.

On the first menu, choose
Laptops & netbooks
then
3000 Y series laptops
then
3000 Y410
then
7757

At this next page is where you will want to choose the model. The model number is to the right of the number 7757 so it will be 7757-xxx where xxx=the model number

then choose your operating system

Once you see your laptop listed at the top, choose the menu option on the left called
Download Drivers & Software

As an alternative to the above which is somewhat difficult, you can just download the Lenovo system updater program which you can run to make sure you download the correct drivers:

Windows XP/Vista/2000
http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.page?DocID=DS013489

Windows 7

What is the max (RAM) memory the Gateway Tabor 3 Coppermine WS440BX Motherboard will thak. Also memory type please.

After doing some research, I found that you had an Intel motherboard and used a website called www.crucial.com (Crucial is a brand of memory and have some useful tools on their website) These are the specs that came up. You can view the same information at this web address http://www.crucial.com/store/listparts.aspx?model=WS440BX

It also shows the price of the upgrade! Hope you find what you are looking for!
  • 168-pin DIMM Banking: 3 (3 banks of 1)
  • Chipset: Intel 440BX
  • Error Detection Support: ECC and non-ECC
  • Graphics Support: AGP 2X
  • Max Component Density: 128Mb
  • Max Unbuffered SDR SDRAM: 384MB
  • Module Types Supported: Unbuffered only
  • SDR SDRAM Frequencies: PC66 and PC100
  • Supported DRAM Types: SDR SDRAM only
  • USB Support: 1.x Compliant
Q: Will my system recognize the maximum upgrade?
A: Possibly How much memory your Windows OS will recognize depends on which version of Windows you are running. 32-bit versions of Windows will see (and utilize) only 3GB or 3.5GB. To utilize more memory, install a 64-bit version of your OS. More information about OS memory maximums can be found at http://www.crucial.com/kb/answer.aspx?qid=4251.
Q: What memory goes into my computer, and will a faster speed be backward-compatible?
A: SDRAM memory with support for SDRAM, PC133 speeds. Because SDR memory is backward-compatible, you can safely upgrade your system with any of the guaranteed-compatible SDR speeds listed below.

Q: How much memory can my computer handle?
A: 384MB.
Adding the maximum amount of memory will improve performance and help extend the useful life of your system as you run increasingly demanding software applications in the future.
Q: Do I have to install matching pairs?
A: No. No, you can install modules one at a time, and you can mix different densities of modules in your computer. But if your computer supports dual-channel memory configurations, you should install in identical pairs (preferably in kits) for optimal performance.
Q: Does my computer support dual-channel memory?
A: No. Your system does not support dual channel.

Q: Does my computer support ECC memory?
A: No. Your system does not support ECC. Because ECC and non-ECC modules should not be mixed within a system, install the same type of modules that are already in your system.

Upgrade problems

Your system comes stock with one stick of DDR2 (512 MB), which means that it is _ not_ dual channel DDR2 memory as dual channel DDR2 must be installed in matched pairs. Try to exchange the new memory for 2G of some single channel DDR2.
