I'm running a Windows 7 netbook- acer aspire one. 32 bit Prossesor- Intel Atom BOOTING ERROR- I press power and the ACER logo pops up (normal) and then: For Atheros PCIE Ethernet Controller v1.0.0.5(01/22/09) Check cable connection...! PXE-E63: Error while initializing the NIC PXE-M0F: Exiting Intel PXE ROM No bootable device - insert boot disk and press any key I press any key and the message repeats itself. The computer is outside of warranty :(

This message means that the computer cannot see the hard drive. Unofrtunately, this is usually caused by a failed Hard Disk drive. However, you could try removing and re-fitting the hard drive to see if this cures the problem.

    I'm going to give it a try. Thanks for your response. I was watching youtube when the crash happened, so I guess it's my punishment for watching rubbish when I should be working!

How do i reset user password on aspire one d255e atom n455

1. restart windows system from login page.
2. before booting to "Acer" press immediately Alt+10 and continue pressing until
"windows prompt: loading". (this is before the Windows Logo)

-second is restore system only.

Doesnt startup,but rather displays "A disk read error occurred.Press Ctrl+Alt+Del",it does that again and again

maybe a usb device plugged? if not try in bios\boot sequence to set cdrom - hd - usbdev. then try to boot with the puppy sturdust linux cd. if it work is just the internal hd; format it and reinstall. hope it help bye

What is the best OS for intel Atom

I have Windows 7 64 bit loaded on mive and I have an 11.5 inch Acer one that has Vista Ultinate on it. They both run great with no issues. If there is not a Windows 7 driver, I used Vista 64 bit drivers that worked fine.

My Acer Aspire 1 gets stuck when the Windows XP logo apears and just keeps booting, what can I do?

Hard Drive error on the Disk most likely... Try to go to Windows "Safe Mode"... pressing F5 before you see the XP Logo and after you see the system information screens. Once in safe mode... run ScanDisk.
Open My Computer | Right Click C Drive | Left Click Properties | Tools Tab Run Check Disk for Errors... also check mark both boxes.
