Lowly is it the left burners that won't lite? I only ask as depending on the model some of the Thermador cook tops had simmer control burners. This is a 3 part system on the burners. 1 a simmer control, 2 electric solenoid, 3 potentiors. When you turn on the burner the potentior tells the simmer control to send power to the gas solenoid. At the same time the unit will spark. If your unit has extra low on the left 2 burners then you have this system. The usual problem in the potentior. Hope this helps.

SGCS304RS The two left burners work. The two right burners, spark but no gas comes out.

The regulators are clogged and so there is no gas flow due to this. use a good brush to clean the burner tops so as to get the mixture of gas /air correct. Use pressurized air to clean the valve, clean the JETS and reset.

We have a thermador 5 burner gas range top and the pilot light seems to have gone out. The burners don't go on but we smell gas. How do we re-light it?

Most gas range tops no longer have pilot lights but use an electronic ignition (sparker) to light the burner. Normally when you turn the burner on you should here a snapping or sparking sound, at which point the burner should ignite. Here is a link to the user manual for 36" - 5 burner Thermador rangetop...maybe this will help: http://dl.owneriq.net/a/ac64ae7b-1ed3-44a3-9235-e4dbd8fe4628.pdf

By the way, in the short term you could always use a match to light the burner. JUST BE VERY CAREFUL THE YOU HAVE THE MATCH LIT AND OVER THE DESIRED BURNER BEFORE YOU TURN KNOB TO START THE BURNER!!!!

One burner on gas cooktop fires up but goes tick, tick tick.

There may well be water in the burner. It will evaporate in a day or two. Then it will work fine again.

please mark this answer as a fixya

One burner on a 6-burner gas cooktop misbehaving

sounds like the air /gas mixture is off.look at where the burner meets the gas valve (the knob) under the grates and play with the adjuster turn it slowly while the burner is on and this will change the value of the air/gas mixture good luck

Gas cooktop - burner won't ignite

Hello
Check the air mixture on that one and make sure is like the other ones, it should be a slide sleeve that rotates to adjust the air, and make sure that, no bigfire yellow tips when switch is on high.
Hope this help
