Install webcam cant install my webcam.. i plug it to usb and im ask if it comes with a disk and i dont have any.. i just want to install it.. as quick as possible..

1st You download Webcam Driver.
Im having problem installing the
After this install the Webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver
Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager s
Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
Driver will be install.

plug the webcam in to USB the webcam should have came with a disk insert the disk and follow the prompts if it didnt come with a disk you will need drivers control panel admistrive tools,computer management,device manager scroll down universal serial bus controllers you should see a yellow question mark? right click to reinstall drivers hope this helps

There may be a clash between lifecam and MSN. close MSN and alll other IMs. uninstall lifecam. restart the PC, install webcam SW with the cam unplugged. After installation plug the cam ina USB port and let Windows read the drivers and install the cam, Once that is done, now you can configure the cam in your IMs one by one.

If the software comes on a CD-ROM disk,
borrow a friend's computer, and copy the files onto a USB memory-stick. Then, connect that memory-stick to your computer, and install from this copy of the disk.

Plug the camera in -- Windows will ask you if it is allowed to connect to the Windows Update web-site, to automatically find, download, and install the the correct software. Say "yes, this time".

FISRT U MUST CONFORM THAT UR WEB CAM IS IN USB MODE. MOSTLY IT WILL BE USB.

IF S, U TYPE USB NIKON WEBCAM SOFTWARE DOWNLOAD IN GOOGLE SEARCH AND DOWNLOAD IT FROM THE SITE.

THEN , INSTALL IT IN UR COMPUTER.....

yeah ricky is right you have to install the software before you plug the cam in so then windows is able to pick up the drivers and install them

i need the setup for genius webcam and i don't have the cd

Hi, i just looked up the website and found this driver i aint sure if its the one u tried. http://204.247.157.162/ezcam3_ts/ezcam3_drv_02.htm unplug the webcam, install the file from the download above, if it comes up new hardware found and asks for driver, give it the location where the file extracts to. if it dont go into control panel, device manager, see if you see a "a usb device, unknown device along that lines with a yellow tag beside it, double click on it if its yellow and select update driver and give it the location of extracted files.. and hopefully you will get it working..
